Arsenal has millions of fans across the globe both young and old. However not many of Arsenals modern fans really know Arsenals origins. Arsenal football club was founded in the year 1886 byWoolwich Armaments factory workers in south London. At the time the club was not a professional football club unlike today and also it had its ground in south London unlike today where they are considered as a North London team.
The clubs migration to North London was not welcomed well by local club spurs leading to the development of hostile realisations that led to the development of modern day North London derby. A lot has changed from then and one of the major notable changes is the clubs logoand name. Arsenal founding members named the club Dial Square the name changed later to Woolwich Armaments. The name was later modified to Royal Gunners in the year 1891 and lastly to their modern name Arsenal football club.
